Mr. Kerley recently expanded his portfolio, acquiring a residential complex in Albany with the assistance of real estate brokers Brian Miles and Gabe Johansen of SMI Commercial Real Estate Brokerage. Acting as sole proprietor of Kerley Properties, LLC, he successfully purchased Heatherstone Apartments, a complex consisting of 20 one-bedroom and 18 two-bedroom units on Thurston Street. The $1.16 million deal was financed by Greystone Servicing Corporation, while Bradley Wilson of Marcus & Millichap Capital Corporation served as mortgage broker.
Other recent acquisitions include Whitman Park Apartments in Salem. Encompassing a total of 92 apartments, the complex includes 14 one-bedroom, 800-square-foot units; 34 two-bedroom, 788-square-foot units; and 22 two-bedroom, 907-square-foot units. In addition, the community offers 11 three-bedroom floor plans providing 1,096 square feet of space. Millichap Capital’s Bradley Wilson also served as the mortgage broker for this acquisition, which had a cash purchase price of $4.35 million. Hunt Mortgage Group oversaw financing for the transaction, while local real estate broker Anita Risberg facilitated the sale.
